PBS 110 (Primary and Secondary Seal)

PBS 110 (Double seal) is a mechanical seal system commonly installed on External Floating Roofs. It can be designed and manufactured for a variety of above ground storage tanks and is suitable for all products with correct material selection.

PBS 110 is made of rim mounted Stainless Steel compression plates and can be installed up to 250mm nominal space from the tank shell.

PBS 110 is fire resistance and is designed according to Din 2210 and Din 2218 and also compliant with API 650 and API 2003

PBS 110 can be installed on tanks with a distorted tank shell and be in constant contact with the shell.

PBS 110 is a long lasting seal system that can operate in -20 to +200 temperatures. It requires almost zero maintenance and lasts as long as the tank is operation
